Whats the best browser for me to use?

GlasCore works best using Google Chrome, Fire Fox and Apple’s Safari.

We are sorry to say that GlasCore uses technology that is not available in Internet Explorer. So if you are having issues please download Fire Fox or Chrome to the device you’re using.

How do I navigate the dashboard?

To navigate our dashboard use the bar to the left of your screen; we call it the navigation bar.

How do I activate my account?

To activate your account use the link we sent you via email and login using your account email and password—your login email will always be the address used to set up your account.

Once you’ve entered your details click SIGN IN. Our system has good memory; if you’d like it to remember your password tick the box above SIGN IN.

How do I reset my password?

If you’d like to reset your password go to your Settings.

Click on the pen image next to your password then enter your current password along with your new password —you’ll need to enter it twice. Make sure you use something memorable.

I’ve forgotten my password.

We’ll get you back into your account in no time.

Click I FORGOT MY PASSWORD on the login page —it’s below the SIGN IN button and a box will pop up. Simply type in the email address you used to set up the account and we’ll send a link to reset your password.

Who am I affiliated with?

To see who you are affiliated with go to your Settings.

Click on MANAGE MY NETWORK and there’ll be a list of your affiliates.

How do I change my account email?

To change your account email go to your Settings.

Click on the pen image next to your email and type in your new email address and confirm by typing it again —we want to make sure you have used the right address.

Once you’ve submitted the new address we’ll send you an email with a link to verify your address. Follow the link to update your account.

How do I change my username?

If you’d like to change your username go to your Settings.

Click on the pen image next to your username and enter the new username you’d like to use.

How do I upload an avatar image?

You can add more personality to account by changing your avatar photo. To do this go to your Settings.

Click on the pen image next to the avatar photo –as long as your photo is 500 x 500 pixels you can use any image.

How do I invite affiliate(s)?

To invite an affiliate(s) to your account go to your Settings.

Click on MANAGE MY NETWORK and type in the email address of the user you’d like to invite.

How do I import my data?

To import your data go to the Toolshed. You’ll find all of the tools and integrations available to you in the Tools Store and the Integrations Store.

Use the Data Import card to upload your existing data in either Microsoft Excel or CSV format.

We’ve partnered with some of the industry’s leading service providers to simplify your data connectivity. Use your existing data by logging in to your account with any of our partners.

How do I delete my data?

To delete a topic, asset or event go to your data page.

Click on the more button and select Delete to remove your files from the dashboard. Once they are deleted they cannot be retrieved, so make sure you’ve selected the right topic, asset, or event.

How do I update my data?

To update your data go to the Toolshed, there you will find the tools and integrations where you can upload your existing data. You can import data in a Microsoft Excel or CSV format or on one of our partners’ sites. We’re making data import easier for you.

What’s the Dashboard?

The Dashboard is where you view all of your visualisations. You can view and compare your data in an interactive environment.

What’s the Toolshed?

The Toolshed has specific tools and integrations. You can import your data here and login to our partner accounts if you already have data stored with them.

What are my Settings?

The Settings page allows you to manage your profile, which includes your username, email address, password, and affiliates.

What is Maps?

GlasCore’s Maps allows you to virtually manage your land. You can easily import your land/fields and then start adding data to them. Land managment has never been easier.

What are shapefiles?

Shapefiles hold the geometric location and and attribute information of your field’s geographic features.

How do I import my fields into GlasCore?

You can import your fields into GlasCore quickly and easily with Shapefile Importer.

What are visualisations?

Visualisations are charts, they allow you view and compare your data –they can either be bar, line or pie charts. They’re a visual image of your data, making it easier for you to make decisions. You can use any data imported into the dashboard through the Toolshed.

What are topics?

Topics allow you to monitor subjects within your farming business and give a basic view of your data. You can monitor any subject e.g. overall farm productivity, milk quality, livestock health, crop yield, etc. Topics reflect the output of your farming business and there are no restrictions to the sources you use.

What are assets?

Assets are sources of data within your farming business. You can analyse livestock, vegetables, machinery, etc. We do not restrict data sources, so you can collect data from any asset. Your assets are related to a specific topic.

What are events?

Events are data values collected from an asset. You can enter any source e.g. weather, medicines, livestock, butterfat volume. Your events are related to a specific asset.

What are reports?

Reports gather your data into a professional format and we tailor them for you. You will be proud to present your data.

The DPA updates the UK’s data protection laws for the digital age and it gives organisations, businesses, and the government guidelines to follow.

Who can access my agri-data?

Don’t worry, your data can only be accessed by affiliates that you’re connected to. To view your affiliates go to your Settings and you’ll find them under MANAGE MY NETWORK.

What are IoT devices and sensors?

IoT devices and sensors are machines that collect data for you in locations such as calf sheds, fields, store rooms, milking parlours and much more. These devices then send your data to a LoRaWAN gateway which passes your data to your GlasCore account, so your data simply arrives in your account. IoT devices and sensors work independently without the need for your input; they’re designed to simplify and streamline data collection.

What’s LoRaWAN?

LoRaWAN stands for low-powered wide-area network technology. It manages communication between gateways and sensors or devices.

What can I monitor?

How can IoT devices optimise my poultry business?
